Business Development Leader

How will you contribute?

The mumm Business Development Leader is a very unique and challenging position as it requires multi skilled individual to do the job right. This role is basically the leading role in the organisation that determines how good the food on mumm platform is and how much money the cooks (food partners) on the platform make Below are some of the different tasks this role need to execute with excellence:

  • Lead the Business Development Management team that is the core of our operation

  • Grows Network of home based cooks.

  • Grow the BDMs Capabilities

  • Understand mumm customer and build the best key business drivers model to insure each persona’s satisfaction with the final product

  • Conduct tasting sessions to qualify cooks to join our network.

  • Manage and analyze the performance of the cooks (mumm food partners) and develop their business.

  • Innovate agile processes and systems that adapts with mumm’s high speed growth and scalability

  • Innovate new products to be introduced to the market

  • Help both mumm and Home based cooks build their business and grow their profits.

  • Contribute to mumm leadership team’s strategy of market growth and expansion

 

What you‘ll bring ?

The candidate should ideally have:

  • Solid demonstration of leadership, direction setting, and influencing others.

  • Demonstrated strong performance in leading teams in the areas of: recruitment,  sales or business development.

  • A desire to win, with a strong entrepreneurial flair to seek out new business opportunities.

  • Excellent communication skills, which enable you to express ideas in a way that creates commitment and trust.

  • A degree (from any discipline) is required.

  • Hungry to learn.

  • Fun to work with.

  • Certificate in Culinary Skills is a plus.

  • Experience in food operations is a plus.

Terms And Conditions

Permitted Items

Voo couriers can only transport items easily carried by cars.

Restricted Items: You may NOT send for delivery

Alcohol, drugs or illegal substances

Dangerous items (weapons, explosives, flammable…etc.)

People or animals of any size

Fragile items

Very expensive or rare items such as jewelry

Cash and passports

If the package is not in a good condition (appears broken or damaged)

If the package is not properly sealed by the requestor after being checked by the courier

-if a Voo courier refuses to pick-up an item due to its size, weight or because it’s a restricted item, a cancellation fee will apply

-Voo couriers will not purchase any item for delivery

-Voo couriers reserve the right to refuse any item in their sole discretion

Delivery Guarantee

Voo will guarantee lost or damaged items up to 250L.E. except for restricted items for which no guarantee applies

EXCEPT FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE DUE TO A COURIER’S GROSS NEGLIGENCE OR WILLFUL MISCONDUCT (for which the guarantee set forth above shall apply), requestor/customer (you) is fully responsible and liable for the items sent for delivery by courier hereunder. Our liability to requestor (you) shall in no event exceed (250 L.E).

Chain of Custody

There must be someone at the delivery address to receive your item(s). One of the following must occur in order to complete delivery:

If you would like to waive the normal chain of custody process, a text message confirmation is required indicating no recipient is necessary.

If no one is available at the delivery address and the chain of custody is not waived, courier will return item(s) to pick-up location and bills the requestor (you) full delivery fare+ cancellation fee.

Cancellation fee

If no one is present at your pick-up location, a cancellation fee will apply

If no one is present at your delivery location, your courier will wait 10 minutes before returning your item(s). Requestor (You) will be responsible for full fare.

Any delivery requested without recipient present will require a text message confirmation from requestor stating no recipient is necessary

If no one is present at delivery location and requestor (you) is also unavailable when item is returned, requestor is accountable. Courier will leave item at original pick-up location and requestor (you) will be responsible for full fare.

Privacy Policy

Voo collects information about you when you use our mobile applications, websites, call-centre and other products and services (collectively, the “Services”) and through other interactions and communications you have with us. If you reside in the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Services are provided by Voo Networks FZ LLC and/or its affiliates (collectively “Voo”), and this privacy policy applies to information collected and used by Voo. Each time you use the Services or provide us with information, by doing so you are accepting the practices described in this privacy policy at that time.

I. Scope and Application

This privacy policy (this “privacy policy") applies to persons anywhere in the world who use our Services to request a delivery or other on-demand services (“Users”). This privacy policy does not apply to information we collect from or about drivers, partner transportation companies, or any other persons who use the Voo platform under license (collectively “Couriers”). If you interact with the Services as both a User and a Courier, the respective privacy policy will apply to your different interactions.

II. Collection of Information

Information You Provide to Us

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create or modify your account, request on-demand services, contact customer support, or otherwise communicate with us. This information may include: name, email, phone number, postal address, profile picture, payment method, and other information you choose to provide.

Please note that we do not knowingly collect, keep or maintain personal information from children under the age of 18 through the Services, as we require that all users represent to us that they are at least 18 years old.

Information We Collect Through Your Use of Our Services

When you use our Services, we collect personal information (i.e. information that could be used to contact you directly such as full name, postal address, phone number, credit/debit card information, or email address) (“Personal Information”) and demographic information (i.e. information that you submit, or that we collect, that is not personal information; this may include, but is not limited to, post code, hometown, gender, username, device information, device location, IP address, SMS data, transaction information, age/birth date, browsing history information, searching history information, and registration history information) (“Demographic Information”).

Information We Collect From Other Sources

We may also receive information from other sources and combine that with information we collect through our Services. For example:

When you request on demand services, our Couriers may provide us with a User rating after providing services to you.

If you choose to link, create, or log in to your Voo account with a payment provider or social media service (e.g., Facebook), or if you engage with a separate app or website that uses our API (or whose API we use), we may receive information about you or your connections from that site or app.

If you also interact with our Services in another capacity, for instance as a Courier, we may combine or associate that information with information we have collected from you in your capacity as a User.

III. Use of Information

We may use Personal Information and Demographic Information which we collect about you to:

Provide, maintain, and improve our Services, including, for example, to facilitate payments, send receipts, provide products and services you request (and send related information), develop new features, provide customer support to Users and Couriers, develop safety features, authenticate users, and send product updates and administrative messages;

Perform internal operations, including, for example, to prevent fraud and abuse of our Services; to troubleshoot software bugs and operational problems; to conduct data analysis, testing, and research; and to monitor and analyze usage and activity trends;

Send or facilitate communications (i) between you and a Courier, such as estimated times of arrival (ETAs), or (ii) between you and a contact of yours at your direction in connection with your use of certain features, such as referrals or invites;

Send you communications we think will be of interest to you, including information about products, services, promotions, news, and events of Voo and other companies, where permissible and according to local applicable laws; and to process contest, sweepstake, or other promotion entries and fulfill any related awards; and

Personalize and improve the Services, including to provide or recommend features, content, social connections, referrals, and advertisements.

We may transfer the information described in this privacy policy to, and process and store it in, the Republic of Ireland, the United Arab Emirates and other countries, some of which may have less protective data protection laws than the region in which you reside. Where this is the case, we will take appropriate measures to protect your personal information in accordance with this privacy policy.

To preserve the integrity of our databases, we retain Personal Information and Demographic Information submitted by Users for an indefinite length of time. Voo understands your submissions as consent to store all your information in one place for this indefinite length of time, if we so wish. If required by law, we will nullify User information by erasing it from our database. By using the Services, you do hereby represent and warrant that you understand and agree that all information submitted by you through the Services or otherwise to Voo becomes the property of Voo and may be used in the sole discretion of Voo in accordance with this privacy policy and our customer terms of use.

IV. Sharing of Information

We may share Personal Information and Demographic Information which we collect about you as described in this privacy policy or as described at the time of collection or sharing, including as follows:

Through Our Services

We may share your information:

With Couriers to enable them to provide the Services you request. For example, we share your name and pickup and/or drop-off locations with Couriers;

With third parties to provide you a service you requested through a partnership or promotional offering made by a third party or us;

With third parties with whom you choose to let us share information, for example other apps or websites that integrate with our API or Services, or those with an API or Service with which we integrate; and

Other Important Sharing

We may share your Personal Information and Demographic Information:

With Voo subsidiaries and affiliated entities;

With vendors, consultants, marketing partners, and other service providers who need access to such information to carry out work on our behalf;

In response to a request for information by a competent authority if we believe disclosure is in accordance with, or is otherwise required by, any applicable law, regulation, or legal process;

With law enforcement officials, government authorities, or other third parties if we believe your actions are inconsistent with our customer terms of use, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Voo or others;

In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, consolidation or restructuring, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by or into another company;

If we otherwise notify you and you consent to the sharing; and

In an aggregated and/or anonymized form which cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

V. Your Choices

Voo provides Users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from us and our partners at the point where we request information about the visitor. Voo gives Users the option to remove their information from our database, to not receive future communications or to no longer receive our Services.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may change this privacy policy from time to time. If we make significant changes in the way we treat your personal information, or to the privacy policy, we will provide you notice through the Services or by some other means, such as email. Your continued use of the Services after such notice constitutes your consent to the changes. We encourage you to periodically review this privacy policy for the latest information on our privacy practice.

VI. Security Precautions

Your Voo profile is password-protected so that only you and authorized Voo employees have access to your account information. In order to maintain this protection, do not give your password to anyone. Voo staff will never proactively reach out to you and ask for any personal account information, including your password. If you share a computer, you should sign out of your Voo account and close the browser window before someone else logs on. This will help protect your information entered on public terminals from disclosure to third parties.

Voo makes every effort to ensure that your information is secure on its system. Voo has staff dedicated to maintaining our privacy policy as set forth herein and other privacy initiatives, periodically reviewing Web security and making sure that every Voo employee is aware of our security practices. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, Voo cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. If you have any further questions on this issue, refer to our customer terms of use. Voo expressly disclaims any liability that may arise should any other individuals obtain the information you submit to Voo.
